Just thought to travel back through the virtual time machine ten years ago to see myself that where am I?

Yep! seated as a Branch Manager at The Finance Company Ltd.

What I was looking for in my life?

It's nothing like driving a beige interior cushioned car between my bungalow and office and living a life with a safe-line by enjoying all the facilities came to me.

Just thought to risking my entire life to find out meaning of my living. Written some words on a paper as resignation which turned my life to walk with my very own feet and the thirst I'd to do something on my own led me to establish my very own initiative, Innovay (Pvt) Ltd, an IT consultant company.

Just put a seed on soil and watering it with hope that it'll pop out a giant tree on a day. As dreamed, I started to see the growth of it as a tiny plant initially and I keen to take much care on it to grow it as a tree which make me to pick tasty fruits on it to share with the world surrounding me. Of course, challenges were there. It's obvious that the tree forced myself to safe guard it from ecological like challenges come to hit it like storm, rain, flood and blah.. blah... Even-though, the tree sometimes stand without leaves those vanished away by strong wind and with broken branches also, the root stand strong on the soil ever to face all the challenges.

OK, just wish to come back to my present. Hmm... the tree now allow me to pick fruits as I was dreamed and is that the only goal I expect? Exactly NO..! actually, still a long way is there to run with risks to gain more and more throughout the journey I committed to travel as an entrepreneur.

An entrepreneur's journey will never ever ends..!

On the clock running in present, my willingness is emerge more entrepreneurs within our society as it'll lead a massive and healthy growth to a community and through that our country as well.

The crowd was facilitated with real entrepreneurial experience sharing by those who won the game in the wild..!

As like this successful event, my enthusiasm towards establishing entrepreneurial thoughts get another ground to play through my business colleagues in the form of hosting first ever Startup Weekend event in Sri Lanka.

Before get in to the talk about this, some of you may not aware what "Startup Weekend" is?

Simply, It's the event powered by Google for entrepreneurs which transform a business idea to a working prototype throughout a 54 hours weekend session with the support of the presence of very best mentors, investors, co-founders and sponsors.

"Bring your flour on the table and get back baked cookies in your hands..!"

The scenario behind set up and make the event happen in Sri Lanka is can't be written in a single paper. It's a puffy paragraph story which ended with some good lines. The effort we (me along with Sharanyan Sharma, Thavaruban Thangarajah and Chamara Pieris) put as organizing committee of the event to host the event is going to boom its exciting results in coming days when the event going to hit the floor.

As the event scheduled to happen in Jaffna, it's door knocking opportunity to all Sri Lankans to grab their seat on the event unless otherwise have to face many hassles such as getting visa sealed on the passport, purchase high cost flying ticket, pay thousand and thousand bucks for having food and accommodation to get a seat on a Startup Weekend event which may host in a country out from Lankan land.

Who don't like this outperforming opportunity to meet special people in the form of mentors, partners, investors and business colleagues to establish a well strong business communication channel and to get the own business idea in an implemented way back which channelled through the expert's panel?

Even, it's my wish to been as a participant of the event and unfortunately as having a seat in organinzing committee, I'll be as a business colleague of you on the event.

Startup Weekend Jaffna is not only the opportunity to the persons who interact with business. But also, it's the platform to students as well who most enthusiastic to stand on their own. Benefit of participating to Startup Weekend Jaffna is too early to tell it here now just in words and the persons who grab the opportunity right in hands will definitely write their own success stories on their successful future ahead. Some walls are waiting to have their stories written.

There is a general thought, being an entrepreneur is a cruel curse as need to face challenges and have to risking the life. It's actually not like that and entrepreneurship journey will win by the people who not fear to put their feet forward through a forbidden path which lead to the kingdom at the end..!
